A Village of Gites - Holidays in Nature

The Oustaou of Luberon, classified as a 3 * holiday village by Atout France, is designed for the comfort, family and tranquility of its guests.

Nestled in the Vaucluse department, the Luberon is the very evocation of Provence by the beauty of its contrasting landscapes. The Luberon is home to some of the most beautiful cities and villages in Provence: Lourmarin, Ansouis, Gordes and Roussillon, classified among the most beautiful villages in France.

L'Oustaou du Luberon is located in the heart of this wonderful region set in 20 hectares of scrubland, hills and olive groves, between the moutains of Luberon and of the Sainte Victoire
You will find with us the Provençal sweetness of life, punctuated by the murmur of the fountains and the discovery of the colorful markets with sun-kissed fruits and vegetables.

An opportunity to meet the owners who have made a different lifestyle choice, based on a unique, ethical and sustainable concept of Tourism

Michel and Cécile accompanied by their Children Amandine and Lilian, offer you off the beaten track holidays, and to live an experience of immersion in this green and authentic Provence

Beautiful Tennis court

Tennis court, racquets and balls on site; according to your wishes, it turns into multisport with practicing basketball, handball, volleyball or mini football ... for team tournaments

The way of counting points in tennis comes from the "jeu de Paume": This French game, played in the 16th and 17th centuries, is the ancestor of tennis created by the English in the 19th century ("tennis" is also the deformation of French word "hold !", pronounced by the player throwing the ball).

In the "jeu de Paume", it is assumed that the winner of the point had to advance each time 15 steps in the direction of the net (15, 30, 45 or 60 paces from the service line), and the one who reached the net, located at 60 steps, won the game. The number 40 would be a shortcut to 45, too long to pronounce.

When the players were tied at 40, the advantage was to take 5 more steps.
